Dysart United Methodist Church is sponsoring a movie night on Sunday, April 17 at 4 p.m.. The feature the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness” is a biographical story of entrepreneur, Chris Gardner. Life is a struggle for single father Chris Gardner played by Will Smith. Evicted from their apartment, he and his young son find themselves alone with no place to go. Even though Chris eventually lands a job as an intern at a prestigious brokerage firm, the position pays no money. The pair must live in shelters and endure many hardships, but Chris refuses to give in to despair as he struggles to create a better life for himself and his son.

This PG-13 movie and refreshments are FREE! Popcorn, hot chocolate, and lemonade will be served before, during, and after the movie. Dysart United Methodist is located at 602 Tilford. This is open to the public.
