The annual We Build Champions football camps will begin with a special Father/Son Day on Sunday, July 31 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Union High School in La Porte City.

“There is a reason young men attend our camps,” said Union Head Coach Joe Hadachek. “By the time we finish camps this August we will break 2,500 campers over the past 10 years, and they learn more than just Xs and Os. We produce champions.”

Regular camps begin Monday, August 1 with the following schedule:

High School (Grades 9-12) – Monday, August 1 to Thursday, August 4, 4-7:30 p.m. @ Union High School

Middle School (Grades 7-8) – Monday, August 8 to Thursday, August 11, 9-11 a.m. @ Union High School

KYFC (Grades 3-6) – Monday, August 8 and Tuesday, August 9, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. @ Dysart Park

KYFC (Grades K-2) – Sunday, August 28, 1-3 p.m. @ Dysart Park

Registration for the younger kids can be completed online at www.kyfc.info for $25.

Volunteers are also needed to help take on the youth flag football duties this year in both La Porte City and Dysart.
