14th Annual Dysart’s Old Iron Days scheduled for July 29 & 30
Dysart Development Corporation’s Old Iron Days Tractor Ride will take place of July 30 starting at the Dysart City Park. Festivities start on Friday evening, July 29 with the Show and Shine Car Show starting at 5 p.m. followed by a Car Cruise at 8 p.m. There will be music playing great old and new selections in the open shelter house from 6 to 8 p.m. Many of the tractors will arrive Friday evening and will be displayed on the ball diamond.
The Dysart Lions will be grilling hamburgers and brat burgers on Friday evening for your dining pleasure.
There will be special events for the shoppers on Dysart’s Main Street with many specialty shops and stores.
This year’s Saturday event starts with the Dysart Lions serving a Biscuit and Gravy breakfast and they also will have sweet rolls, coffee, juice and milk. Breakfast will be served from 7 to 10 a.m. The Lions’ famous Tenderloin meal in the Dysart Park starts at 4:30 and they will be serving until 7 p.m. The breakfast and Tenderloin supper are both open to the public.
Come to the Dysart City Park Saturday morning and watch all the special tractors leave for their ride and enjoy the morning with breakfast and visiting with friends. The tractors are scheduled to depart about 9 a.m. with two or three groups leaving a few minutes apart.
