Bells ringing again at Dysart United Methodist

For centuries, bells have played a major role in our lives-giving voice to the church. It’s a tradition that runs deep and inspires the whole community. When you hear the bells play a familiar hymn at noon and again at 5 p.m. know they are playing from the United Methodist Church. The bells had been silent for a number of years, however, they are again playing. Dysart UMC through the Memorial Committee has purchased a new digital carillon in memory of: Helen Van Tassel, Violetta Schuchart, Larry Parizek, Kermit Brinkmeyer, Bob Konicek, Mark Lyons, Kay Hagedorn, Neva Leo, Tom Balm, Doris Messer, Marilyn Hupfeldt, and Bill Ballard.
