Winner Pat Karr picked up her new bicycle at Europa with help from Russ Grimm.

The Beats, Burgers, Brats, Brews, & Bicycles Event on Saturday, August 20th had a winner for the bicycle sponsored by Europa. Pat Karr was that lucky winner. The day began rainy but by the time the bike started at noon the weather was nice.

Participants enjoyed the bike ride from Vinton to Dysart on the Old Creamery Nature Trail beginning at noon. The participants of the 2:00 PM Bike Rodeo, took part in an obstacle course on Main Street after hearing bicycle safety advice from Dysart Police Chief Jim Barber.

The winners of “Chalk the Walk” designs were Madilyn Sparks, Astrid Hopkins, Toby Hopkins, and Sam Spores. A book reading and signing was done by Leslie Kebschull with her book “I See Something. What Do You See?” “.

All enjoyed the Buck Hollow Band throughout the afternoon and did some fun street dancing. There was plenty to eat, prepared by the Dysart Lions and plenty to drink with the Club Dysart beer sales.
