The Dysart Community Foundation recently presented a 2017 grant to the Union Middle School. This grant funded the purchase of six GO!Link interfaces/stainless steel temperature probes/exercise heart rate monitors. The Science classroom will study the effects of exercise on a student’s heart rate, while the Physical Education classroom will monitor effective exercise relative to target heart rate zones.
