Brendan Boerm is a member of the Central College football team. Boerm is a quarterback for the Dutch.

The Dutch are the second-winningest football team of any college or university in the U.S. since 1975 (.813 winning percentage) and have not had a losing season since 1960. Central has captured a record 30 Iowa Conference championships with 20 NCAA Division III playoff berths, including 17 in the past 25 years.

Central returns 27 letterwinners from last year’s 7-3 squad. The Dutch (1-1) have an early bye week and return to action Sept. 22 at Albion, Mich.
