The 12th ranked Redhawks volleyball team had a stellar week beginning with Monday night’s Class 1A Region 6 first round match in the North Tama gym against the Meskwaki Warriors. North Tama took all three sets against Meskwaki (25-4, 25-5, 25-9). On Wednesday they faced Belle Plaine in the regional quarterfinal again at home and again swept all three sets (25-11, 25-16, 25-10). The Redhawks are now 28-10 for the season and will face Montezuma (22-9) next week, Monday, October 25 in the Region 6 semifinal. The match begins at 7 p.m. in the Redhawks’ Nest.
