After four meets, it’s safe to say we have had a pretty good start to our golf season. The wind was a major factor last week at both South Tama and in Conrad where we struggled with the fast greens but that was the only meet thus far that I would say we took a step backward.

Although we are still fighting to get a first place finish as a team, I do believe we are improving. We just have to work on shooting more consistently and not adding so many extra strokes within our short game. I am excited to see where this team can go from here.

This week Tuesday (April 17), the Redhawks were set to tee up against Clarksville, Dunkerton, and Riceville in Clarksville, followed by a triangular on Thursday in Brooklyn against BGM and Montezuma at the Brooklyn-Victor Country Club.
