TRAER — As the fifth-ranked North Tama varsity volleyball team closed out the regular season last weekend by hosting the Iowa Star Conference tournament and began the postseason last night (handily beating the Keota Eagles 3-0 to move on to the semifinal round against Central City next Monday!), a couple of other Traer volleyball teams were also celebrating a great fall finish – the 7th and 8th grade Big Red Volleyball club teams coached by Madonna Merchant.

The 7th grade team finished their season with a 29-14 record, while the 8th grade team finished with a 40-6 record.

The future of Redhawk volleyball certainly looks to be secure for years to come.
