TRAER – The North Tama girls’ basketball team held off GMG for a 39-34 win in Iowa Star Conference play here on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Ava Breakenridge scored a game-high 11 points to lead the host Redhawks (3-1, 2-1), also contributing eight rebounds, seven assists and six steals. Kruiz Ewoldt added nine points, while Lily Sell had seven points and eight boards.

Makayla Pendleton tallied 10 points to lead GMG, while Skyler Murty chipped in nine points and a game-high 13 boards.
