UNION — The North Tama boys’ golf team took fourth out of a dozen teams at the Iowa Star Conference Tournament held on Wednesday, May 7, at Union Hills Golf Course, with freshman Maddox Rausch pacing the Redhawks to earn All-Conference honors.

BCLUW comfortably won the tournament by shooting 325; Don Bosco (343) was runner-up, followed by Tripoli (354) and North Tama (364). GMG was last out of the 12 scoring teams (442).

BCLUW hoarded the hardware at the top of the individual standings as juniors Nate Bishop and Zaden Eggers shot 73 and 76, respectively, to claim medalist honors.

North Tama’s Rausch shot an 87 to tie for sixth, while Levi Harmsen was eighth with an 89, followed by Kayvin Morris (92) and Michael Harmsen (96).

Jay Bru led GMG with a 103, Drayson Stephenson shot 111, and both Jacob Beaderstadt and Brayton Davis carded 114.
