LA PORTE CITY – Union senior guard Caden Sorensen scored his 1,000th career point during the Knights’ season-opening 68-53 win over Don Bosco on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, becoming only the third student-athlete in school history to reach the milestone, per the Union’s Booster Club. As captain, Sorensen helped lead his team against the visiting Dons with 12 points and five rebounds.
