GILBERT – North Tama senior wrestler Addison “Addy” Hochstetler, a state medalist and two-time state qualifier, recently became the first female wrestler in school history to earn 100 wins. She pulled down her 100th during a triangular in Gilbert that also included Nevada on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026. Hochstetler (fifth from left) is pictured with her teammates at Gilbert High School celebrating the milestone accomplishment. Wrestling at 145 pounds, Hochstetler defeated Gilbert’s Michaela Nissen by pinfall in 1:45, while also recording a win by forfeit over Nevada to end the evening with an overall record of 101-30, 15-2 on the season. The Redhawks won their dual with Nevada, 42-18, but fell to Gilbert 57-21.
