PERRY – The Lady Redhawks wrestled their way to a third-place finish out of a dozen teams at the Perry Girls Wrestling Tournament held on Friday, Jan. 16.

North Tama senior Addison “Addy” Hochstetler earned a runner-up finish in the tournament’s 145-pound bracket, while three of her fellow wrestlers earned bronze, including Lucy Monat (100 pounds), Arabelle Zook (110 pounds), and Alaney Sienknecht (155 pounds).

Dallas Center-Grimes claimed the top spot on the podium with 201 points, followed by Southeast Polk with 185 points, and the Redhawks in third with 107 points – just beating out Kuemper Catholic in fourth with 106 1/2 points and the hosts in fifth with 103 points.

Rounding out the Redhawks scoring, Olivia Youngblood (125 pounds) and Jocelyn Harms (135 pounds) both finished fourth, Grace Dvorak took fifth at 105 pounds, and Eva Williams took sixth at 140 pounds.
