CONRAD – North Tama freshman golfer Aidyn Brown scored a 78 at the Class 1A sectional meet hosted by BCLUW in Conrad on Wednesday, May 13, to advance to Districts. He helped lead the Redhawks to a fifth-place finish overall — North Tama posted a season-low team score of 336, besting both GMG and Colo-NESCO. Gladbrook-Reinbeck won the meet with 306, followed by BCLUW and AGWSR. The top three teams as well as the top two overall individual players from each site’s non-qualifying teams advance to the next round. Brown competed this past Monday in the 1A district meet hosted by St. Edmond at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge. The 2026 IHSAA Spring Golf Championships are set for May 26-27. Class 1A will compete in Newton.
