TRAER – North Tama’s softball and baseball teams earned multiple selections on the All-Iowa Star Conference South Division lists this season, including a Coach of the Year pick.

The Lady Redhawks piled up three first-team selections: senior pitcher Addison Hochstetler as a utility selection; freshman Alaney Sienknecht for infield; and eighth-grader Josie Monat for her contributions in the outfield.

Second-team honors went to senior Gabriella Seda (infield), freshman Morgan Meek (catcher), and eighth-grader Kaeler Ewoldt (outfield). Junior Violet Seda was the team’s honorable mention pick.

Topping it all off, North Tama’s Madonna Madorin was named the Iowa Star’s South Coach of the Year. Collins-Maxwell senior Cypress Maxwell was named South Player of the Year.

Redhawk baseball’s all-conference honors also included three first-team picks: senior Kayler Morris for infield; senior Clayton Williams for outfield; and junior Kayvin Morris as a utility selection. Senior Bryce Dostal was North Tama’s honorable mention pick.

Baxter senior Colton Moffitt was named South Player of the Year and Collins-Maxwell’s Curtis Fisher was named South Coach of the Year.

Redhawk softball finished third (11-8, 9-7) this season, while Redhawk baseball did the same (10-13, 8-8) in the final Iowa Star South standings.
