Paving of the Dysart streets will soon be completed.

The Messer family, which includes a large relationship in and about Dysart, joined in a happy family reunion at the park for a dinner on Sunday, September 1, 1929.

Sept. 7, 1939

Before the altar in the Zion Lutheran Church of which he is the pastor, Rev. E. J. Braun was united in marriage Monday evening to Miss Marie Christopherson.

A total of 351 enrolled Monday in the Dysart School, with 182 boys and 169 girls.

Sept. 1, 1949

Mrs. Wm. Matthiesen, Sr., frightened a would-be possible thief away from her home last Thursday night.

Total enrollment Monday at the opening of the Dysart Consolidated Schools was 385 according to figures supplied by Supt. L. A. Maley, 41 entered primary.

Sept. 19, 1959

Ann Leo, daughter of Mrs. Walter E. Leo, and Jerry Stubbs Wayt of Sac City, were married Sunday, September 6, in the Dysart Methodist Church.

The class of 1930 held their reunion Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Siemens. Twelve members of the class of 18 attended.

Sept. 4, 1969

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Dengler will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Sept. 7, with an open house at the Zion Lutheran Church in Dysart.

Dorothy Lassen and Marvin Kanis , both of Dysart, were united in marriage Friday afternoon, August 29, in the Grace Methodist Church in Dysart.

Sept. 6, 1979

Kathi Ann Hubbard and Gary Raye Keidel, both of Dysart, were married July 27, at the Little Brown Church at Nashua.

Roger and Joann Heckroth of Cedar Rapids are the parents of a baby girl on August 26. She has been named Stephanie Ann.

Sept. 7, 1989

Announcement is being made of the engagement and approaching marriage of Zina R. Wiliams and Scott P. Gajewsky. An October 14, wedding is planned in Newton, N.C.

Julie Feuerbach of Dysart and Steve Arndt of Altoona were united in marriage on Friday, July 7, 1989, at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Waterloo.

Kendra and Randy Olson of Chaska, Minn., are the proud parents of a new daughter, Grace Alycea, who was born on August 18.

Shane and Sara Klein of Jesup announce the arrival of their second child, Elizabeth Grace Klein, born on July 27.
