The Dysart Book Club will meet on Sept. 5, 2013 at 7 p.m. to discuss the biography “The Spiral Staircase, My Climb Out of Darkness” by Karen Armstrong, a prolific writer. The book begins with seven years in a convent, and continues with her life after she left the convent. The story is gripping, revelatory and inspirational.
