Lassens to celebrate 60th anniversary April 12
Merlin and Gerene (Chizek) Lassen will be celebrating their 60th anniversary with a card shower and family dinner. They were married April 12, 1955, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waterloo, Iowa.
Their children are: Randy, Coralville; Kevin (Rhonda), Dysart; Sharon (Roger) Loeffler, Des Moines. The grandchildren are: Tara Lassen, Sean Lassen, Dusty (Jessica) Lassen, Tracie Loeffler (deceased), Evan Loeffler, and Jordan Loeffler. Great-grandchildren are: Olivia, Owen, and Kennedy. Also in the family are step-grandchildren Joleen, Rachele, Brandon, and Ryan; as well as step-great-grandchildren Sophia, Elizabeth, Hunter, Parker, and Aurora.
