53 descendants of the Wm. and Christena Heckroth family gather at the Dysart Community Building on Saturday, July 2 for a potluck dinner.

This year’s reunion was hosted by the Keith and Marie Heckroth family. The oldest Heckroth family member attending was Marlis Wrage of Dysart – daughter of Frank and Vi Heckroth. The youngest Heckroth family member attending was Madison Heckroth of Marion, IA – daughter of Keith and Mari Heckroth and granddaughter of Roger and Louise Heckroth of Hiawatha, IA.

Family members attended from Georgia, Texas, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Florida and several Iowa communities with three cousins and their spouses joining us for the first time since the reunions started several years ago.

Our next reunion will be held in 2018 and will be hosted by the Myrtle Heckroth Williams family.
