Margaret Young will celebrate her 90th birthday.

Margaret was born Jan. 8, 1920 to Robert and Eliza McKinley Montgomery. She graduated from Geneseo High School, attended college at Iowa State Teachers College, and worked at various jobs before marriage. She married Robert Young Jr. on Feb. 11, 1942. She is the mother of three children: Robert Samuel (Ellen) Young of Traer, Bonnie (Steve) Gray of LeClaire,and Barbara (Jerry) Nelson of Delmar. There are six grandchildren, Robert Young, Valerie Irvine, Brandi Wayt, Joshua Sparks, Emily Starr and Scott Nelson. She also has three great-grandchildren, Brittany, Robert and Sara Young. Margaret is a 50+ year member of the Traer United Presbyterian Church. She is also active inseveralcommunity organizations. Margaret’s address is 601 Taylor Street, Apt. 1, Traer, IA 50675.
