Roberts brothersget new grandchildren a day apart.

Former Traer residents, Mike and Mark Roberts added new grandchildren to their families in Januaryjust a day apart. Mike and his wife Lindy, nowof Sierra Vista, Ariz., welcomed grandson Bryce Robert Schumaker, born January 4, 2011 in Fitchburg, Mass., to their daughter, Kelley Ann Roberts and Derek Schumaker. He weighed 8 lbs 14 oz. and was 21 inches long. Bryce is their second grandchild.

Mark and wife, Stephanie, now of Aurora, Mo., welcomed granddaughter, Alyxandria Jayden Plank, born January 5, 2011 in Aurora, Mo., to their daughter Caitlin and her husband Lucas Plank. Aly weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 21 inches long. She is their third grandchild.

Great-grandparents of the two new arrivals are Art and Maggie Roberts of Dunkerton, and former resident Mary LeClerc and her husband, Tom of Pittsburg, Kan.Great-great grandmother is Marie Hess, formerly of Clutier, now of Cedar Rapids.
