Jody Messer and Josh Powers of Waterloo were married April 4, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Parents of the couple are John and LaDonna Messer of Dysart and Tom and Donna Powers of Waterloo. The 4 p.m. ceremony took place in the LaBella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton. The bride is a cosmetologist at Stylin’ Hair Designs in Waterloo, and the groom is a firefighter/paramedic for Waterloo Fire Rescue. A reception and dance will take place Friday, July 17, at the Isle Casino Hotel in Waterloo.
