Jerry and Jolene Benson of Garwin celebrated their 40th Anniversary April 11. They were married at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Traer. The family has planned a gathering at 7 p.m. May 1 at the Gladbrook Memorial Legion. Cake, snacks, drinks and a cash bar will be provided at the celebration. They are the parents four sons: Jeff and Kimi Benson of Montour, Jason and Mindy Benson of Newton, Josh and Alicia Benson of Maple Hill, Kan. and Joel and Mary Benson of Solomon, Kan. They also have seven grandchildren.
