Brice Jacob Vaughn and Karissa Marlys Toussaint were married June 26, 2010, at American Lutheran Church in La Porte City. A Reception followed at the Supervisors Club in Waterloo.

Parents of the couple are Rodney and Kristy Toussaint of Sumner, and Steve and Beth Vaughn of La Porte City.

Karissa is employed at Pipho Family Dentistry in La Porte City as a dental assistant and Brice is employed by Great Lakes Hybrids seed company as a district sales manager.

Participants in the ceremony were matrons of honor Katrina Willems and Tiffany Wurzer, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids included Lori Toussaint, Brook Vaughn, Julie Schreiber, Abby Fagerlind, and Kim Toussaint. Junior bridesmaid was Brooke Toussaint, niece of the bride.

Best man was Nathan Vaughn, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Justin Pippert, Jason Wellman, David Reiter, Brett Heaford, Ty Staveley, and Ryan Toussaint. Junior Groomsman was Trevor Wurzer, nephew of the bride.

Flower girl was Britney Toussaint, niece of the bride. Ring bearers were Treyton Wurzer and Jaxon Willems, nephews of the bride. Aisle runner boy was Brady Toussaint, nephew of the bride.

Ushers were Kyle Wieck, Luke Graveman, Chris Wurzer, and Jon Willems. Personal attendants were Libby Taets and Amber Weber.

After their honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico the newlyweds make their home in La Porte City and are expecting their first child in May.
