Traer Library news & notes
E-READERS
If you received a kindle, nook, or tablet for Christmas this season, be sure to check out the 6000 free ebooks provided in NEIBORS through the library. The easiest way to use NEIBORS is to download the free Overdrive Media Console App from your device’s app store. Then, follow the prompts to choose the Traer Public Library. To sign in, you need your library number (email me or call if you have forgotten yours) and your PIN – the PIN is your phone number (the number we have on record) without the hyphen and without the area code unless your area code is something other than 319. The Nook will require you to have an Adobe ID, just follow the prompts when asked to set one up. The Kindle users must have an amazon.com account. Overdrive has excellent help pages at help.overdrive.com. We also have a handout at the library and I am very willing to spend one on one time with you to help you use your device with NEIBORS. It is best to call ahead to make sure I will be available.
WREATHS
Thank you to everyone who brought in a wreath this month – they were a wonderful addition to the library decor and we received many positive comments on the beauty and originality of the wreaths. You may pick yours up any time we are open this week.

She will cover the basic tools you need to get started, the type of fabric you should use, what type of project makes a good first project and beginning techniques and tricks that will assure a successful endeavor.
