The history of Crystal Township Cemetery will be the focus of the program on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 7:00 p.m. at the Tama County Historical Society and Genealogical Library, 200 N. Broadway St. Toledo. The program is free and open to the public.

Elizabeth Reece will discuss the history of Crystal Township Cemetery, from the first settlers in the township to the establishment of the cemetery. She will share some of the stories she has researched about the people buried in the rural cemetery, as well as talk about gravestone symbolism and iconography.
