LA PORTE CITY – On Wednesday, Aug. 13, the Union Community School District celebrated the district’s newest educators including elementary music teacher Denali Jacobson (second from left), high school science teacher Madison McKenna (center), and high school band teacher Levi Temple (second from right). While Jacobson most recently taught at Marshall Elementary and John Kennedy Elementary in Dubuque, both Kennedy and McKenna are new teachers holding initial licenses.
