WASHINGTON D.C. – Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) met with students from Union Middle School late last month on the steps of the United States Senate. The group discussed their trip to Washington and the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. “It was a pleasure meeting with Union Middle School students. I’m glad they took the time to visit me on their school trip to our nation’s capital. It’s a great place to receive a firsthand civics lesson,” Grassley said. “I encourage all Iowans planning a trip to Washington to contact my office for assistance booking tours, or to come by and say ‘hello.'”
