Ike’s shooting range 2024 training class set for Jan. 30

The Izaak Walton Shooting Facility is a restricted use facility requiring training on rules and regulations prior to use. A class to review rules and regulations is scheduled at 6 p.m. on Jan. 30 with a snow date of Jan. 31. The class will be held at the Tama County nature center at Otter Creek Lake & Park, 2283 Park Road in rural Toledo.

Each authorized shooter will be issued a lock combination and range use card after paying a $50 use fee. This allows the shooter to use the facility through December 31, 2025.

No one can use the facility without going through the training, paying the user fee, and being issued a range use card.

If you are not able to attend this in-person class, you may review the training online or in-person at the nature center during business hours.
