Meet the trio running for Tama County Supervisor District 3

Hoskey, Knebel, Vokoun all seek the Republican nomination

The 2024 primary election in Iowa will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

Ahead of the June 4 Primary Election, Tama-Grundy Publishing reporter Ruby McAllister sent questionnaires to all candidates running in contested races for the Tama County Board of Supervisors including those running for the Republican nomination in District 1, District 3, District 4, and District 5. This week, the newspaper is featuring the trio running for the District 3 GOP nomination: Eli Hoskey of rural Toledo, Heather Knebel of rural Traer, and Robert V Vokoun of Gladbrook.

District 3 includes the townships of Spring Creek, Crystal, and Perry, and parts of far northern Carlton (excluding Garwin) and Howard. The district encompasses the communities of Gladbrook and Traer.

No candidate filed paperwork for the Democratic primary in the race.

The winner of the June 4 Republican primary will run in the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.

The office of Tama County Supervisors District 3 is a 2-year term.
