Final North Iowa Tractor Ride to visit La Porte City next Saturday

LA PORTE CITY – This July the La Porte City Historical & Ag Museum has been chosen to host lunch for the 17th and final North Iowa Tractor Ride.

On Saturday, July 20, around 200 vintage tractors will be driving into downtown La Porte City. The tractors will be in town for close to two hours and residents are invited to come downtown and see them. The tractors will be parked on Main Street while they dine with us at the museum. We anticipate the tractors arriving around noon. The exact times for the ride will be announced closer to the date and we will post those on our social media and website (https://www.laportecitymuseum.org).

The 2024 North Iowa Tractor Ride presented by MBT Bank is hosted by Coloff Media and we are extremely excited to have La Porte City as part of the route. The day prior, on Friday, July 19, four separate tractor groups will roll out from the Benton County Fairgrounds in Vinton and make their way to Brandon for the mid-morning break; then on to Quasqueton for lunch; and then through Rowley and Troy Mills to Center Point for the afternoon break. The groups will travel through Urbana later that afternoon on their way back to Vinton for the Friday overnight.

More information about the ride is available at Northiowatractorride.com.

Don’t miss this unique and one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience the very last North Iowa Tractor Ride.
