DYSART – The annual Dysart Arbor Day celebration and tree planting will take place at Dysart-Geneseo Elementary on Friday, April 25, at 2:15 p.m. A shade tree will be planted west of the new playground behind the school building. Dysart is again a Tree City USA, and the new Tree City Flag will be presented to Mayor Tim Glenn during the program. The students will be singing, and the D-G Elementary Student Council will be planting the tree, assisted by the Dysart Tree Board. Everyone is invited to attend the Arbor Day Celebration.
