LA PORTE CITY – On Monday, May 5, the La Porte City Women’s Club is sponsoring Cinco de Mayo dinner and style show. Social hour begins at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. with the style show to follow.

The Mexican dinner includes chips with salsa, guacamole, and queso; chicken enchilada with Mexican rice; dessert will be churro donuts with dipping sauces.

Businesses showing their clothing include: Blessed Beginnings from Waterloo, University Avenue; Cameron’s & Henkle Creek Mercantile of Vinton; and Brick-a-Brack businesses from Dysart.
