TRAER – Legionnaires with both Traer American Legion Kubik-Finch Post 142 and Clutier American Legion Hora-Machacek Post 453 observed Veterans Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in downtown Traer by saluting those who have served. On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month — and following the town siren — they delivered a 21-gun salute and played taps. Participating Legionnaires: Traer Legion members Don Stansbery, Mike Fink, Lonnie Blocker, Mark O’Clair, Fritz Hulme, Al Hulme, Curt Kern, Bob Bower, Chuck Buresh, Harry Moeller, Lawrence Podhajksy, Jared Bauch, Doug Mundt, Amber Monat; and Duane Hosek with the Clutier Legion.
