TOLEDO – Last week’s (Monday, Nov. 17) Tama County Board of Supervisors meeting moved right along. Starting with Tama County Engineer Ben Daleske who reported that they are working on ditch digging near 260th Street and B Avenue and south of E66 on V Avenue. They are stockpiling rock in Chelsea. The E43 Duponda project is all done. Manatt’s has finished the surface lift of asphalt on the main line, and they will be working on the driveway rock and shoulder rock this week. Tractors have been sold, the ford went for $3,200, and the Deutz went for $5,000.
Two utility permits were approved, then the supervisors went on to approve the purchase agreement and easement agreements with the Peggy & Willis W. Crees Family Trust, Larry and Victoria Holst, and Kaleb Bidwell.
The supervisors appointed Laura Kopsa to the Civil Service Commission and Richard Arp to the Board of Health.
An amendment to last week’s resolution for a moratorium on battery storage was approved. This amendment was just to fix some typos.
Claims totaling $287,247.65 were approved.
