Sandra S. Wenthe, 73

Sandra Sue Wenthe Nevins passed away on March 20 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo at the age of 73. She was born November 11, 1941. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery C. and Beverly Ann Starkweather, three brothers, and husbands and is survived by brothers and sisters, four sons, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was a resident of Gladbrook. Sue worked in the prison ministry in Iowa beginning in 2000, corresponding with inmates. She was involved in various bible study groups and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Funeral services for Sue Wenthe will be Saturday, March 28 at 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 207 Taylor St., Traer, IA.
