ISU hosting day camps in Tama County
ISU Extension and Outreach, Tama County, will be hosting day camps this summer. We’ll be exploring all kinds of art at the day camp on June 17, 2016. We’ll experiment with colors, paints and crayons. Participants will learn about texture and shares. Create dream catchers, paper lanterns and more!
We will also be hosting “Animal Detectives” day camp on June 24, 2016. Youth are invited to join the fun and learn about wild animals, farm animals and pets. We will enjoy animal games, stories, and make your own pet animal to take home. Have lots of fun discovering fun facts about animals at this day camp!
Camp is open to all youth having completed Kindergarten – Third grades during the 2015-2016 school year. Camps will be held at the Traer City Park.
The fun will begin at 9:00 a.m. and goes until 3:00 p.m. Cost is $15 per camp. Everyone is asked to bring a sack lunch, beverage and snacks will be provided. Please wear appropriate clothing for arts and fun!
