Dysart Chamber Community Connections: Pausing the Farmers Market

Nicole Taylor.

Spring has arrived, and with it comes a fresh wave of energy across Dysart.

You can feel it downtown. Events like Spring Fling brought people into 19 local businesses, and that kind of activity matters. It boosts visibility, builds connections, and reinforces just how important it is to support the businesses that power our community.

At the Chamber, our focus is simple, making sure Dysart’s businesses are seen, supported, and connected. From events to social media to our monthly eNews, everything we do is about keeping that energy strong and moving forward.

As we look ahead, we are also being intentional about where we focus our time and resources. This year, the Dysart Chamber Board of Directors has made the decision to pause the Dysart Farmers Market for the 2026 season. This allows us the opportunity to step back, evaluate, and explore how the market could return in the future with the right structure and support in place. We believe in its potential and see this as a step toward building something even stronger down the road.

Planning is already underway for the Maker’s Market on Main on June 6 from 9 am to 2 pm. This event continues to grow each year, bringing new vendors, new visitors, and new energy to downtown Dysart. It’s exactly the kind of experience that helps our businesses thrive.

Supporting Dysart starts with simple actions, show up, share, and shop local when you can. It all adds up.

The momentum in Dysart is real, and it’s just getting started.
