Redhawks turn back BCLUW in second half
CONRAD — North Tama used a strong second half to rally back to beat the BCLUW boys’ basketball team 59-47 in the Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, Iowa Star Conference South Division showdown played on the cusp of winter break.
The Redhawks (5-2, 4-1) trailed 26-18 at the half before outscoring BCLUW 41-21 in the second half.
Kayler Morris scored season-high 25 points to go with eight rebounds in leading North Tama to victory. Brayton Cibula added 15 points and three blocked shots for the Redhawks.
Aiden Frank had a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead BCLUW (4-3, 4-2) in defeat. Daniel Zoske also had a double-double of 11 points and 11 boards. Wyatt Gould chipped in with six points and four assists, but the Comets couldn’t overcome 23 turnovers.

Ahead of the boys game, the Lady Redhawks set the stage by notching a decisive 54-22 win over the Comets.
Kruiz Ewoldt led North Tama with 17 points and Gabriella Seda added 13 points and five blocks. On the boards, Kahlia Even and Shawna Cibula both had eight rebounds to lead the defense.
Following the break, North Tama will be back on the hardwood on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, against Cedar Ridge Christian at home in Traer.
