Talk about keeping it in the Knight family! Two former Union Knight Football players on the 2012 Wartburg team are Jared Wauters and Cole Hinders.

Wauters, a junior, graduated from Union in 2010 and is a starting safety for the Knights. Hinders, a freshman linebacker, is a 2012 Union graduate.

The Knights are currently 2-1 with the next game Sept. 29 against Simpson in Indianola. Wartburg returns home on Oct. 13 against Luther College at 1 p.m., and again Oct. 20 against Dubuque at 1:30 p.m.
