Will Earley was among the select few individuals chosen for the 2017 Iowa Basketball Coaches Association’s Academic All State Basketball Team.

Earley, a senior at North Tama, earned the honor for his excellence in the classroom.

This year’s group was selected from a pool of 170 nominees. The average GPA of Academic All State members this year is 3.98 with a composite ACT score average of 29.6.

On the court, Earley averaged 11 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for the Redhawks.

Earley joins his father, Mark, who was an Academic All State honoree at North Tama during his senior year back in 1989.
