Don’t miss the solar eclipse in Traer August 21!

People in Traer will be able to observe a 91.6% eclipse of the Sun! This nearly total eclipse of the Sun is a rare event!

In Traer, the eclipse will begin at 11:45:00 a.m. CDT and the maximum eclipse will be at 1:10:22 p.m. CDT. This will be the time when the Moon blocks the Sun most completely. The eclipse will end in Traer at 2:34:51 p.m. CDT.

Here is a great link with eclipse resources from the United State Naval Observatory including a way to calculate eclipse times for other locations: aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/Eclipse2017.php
