Traer’s annual Chamber Halloween Contest returns
A tiny trick or treater dressed as a Holstein cow waits patiently last Friday, October 29 in the Traer Memorial Building for their family members to finish registering them for the Traer Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Halloween Costume Contest. The contest was open to children of all ages from birth to 6th grade with prizes given for the most original and best all-around costumes across six age groups. Every little goblin or ghoul who participated received a goodie bag. Following the event, participants and their families wound their way up and down Second Street for some early trick or treating — visiting businesses with pumpkin signs in their windows.
