Wolf Creek Players members including (first photo, left to right) Jeremy Hartman, Brayden Ryan, and Jana Ryan perform the play “Now and Then” by Sean Grennan last Sunday afternoon in Dysart in the Union Middle School auditorium. Sandi Hulst (not pictured) also was part of the group’s spring production which was directed by Deb Kloster. The intimate comedy-drama took place almost entirely inside a fictional bar and involved just four actors, leading to some heavy lifting for the talented local cast. Attendance at all three performances last weekend was unfortunately and uncharacteristically down, according to Wolf Creek Players member Richard Arp, which he attributed to a combination of the weather and planting season commencing. The community theater group’s next production, the comedy “Unnecessary Farce” will take place in the fall with auditions set for August. Refer to Wolf Creek Players’ Facebook page for more information. Wolf Creek Players are also scheduled to perform this July during Dysart’s Sesquicentennial celebration.
