‘Iowa’s Religious History’ set for March 11 at Wieting Theatre

TOLEDO – The Tama County Historical Society will present the program “Iowa’s Religious History” on Wednesday, March 11, at 6:30 p.m. at the Wieting Theatre, 101 S. Church St, Toledo.

The program will be given by Clutier’s Bill R. Douglas, author of “The People Are Kind: A Religious History of Iowa.” Drawing from his book, Douglas will show how Iowa’s extraordinary religious diversity helped shape the state, and illustrate with examples from Tama County and neighboring communities.
