Mr. and Mrs. William Grimm celebrated their Silver Wedding anniversary Monday evening by entertaining a company of relatives and friends at an oyster supper followed by a social time.

The Little Brown Church in Nashua was the scene of the wedding of Paul Holtz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Holtz of Dysart, and Miss Dorothy Hink, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hink of Grinnell last Wednesday, November 30.

In the presence of the immediate families and a very few close friends, Miss Donna Mae Grimm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Grimm of Garrison, became the bride of James W. Flemming, son of Mrs. Anna Flemming and the late James T. Flemming also of Garrison.

Mr. and Mrs. Delos Seebach are the parents of a son born Friday afternoon, November 28, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. The infant is the couple’s first son and fourth child.

Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Blackburn are the parents of a son born November 11, 1968. He has been named Brad Alex.
Dec. 7, 1978
Tuesday night, November 28, saw the Dysart-Geneseo Trojan basketball squad defeat the North Tama boys team by a score of 54-40 on the home court.
Dec. 8, 1988
Demolition was completed last Thursday on the old Tama-Benton Cooperative offices at the corner of Wilson and Main Streets. This is the site of the Christmas tree being sponsored by the Dysart Development Corporation.

Mrs. Bessie Raub celebrated her 101st birthday with her family, Monday, December 7, at D’s Place in Dysart.
