North Tama girls hitting their stride

The ladies of the North Tama basketball team have won three of the last four games to even their record at 3-3 (as of Tuesday).

After dropping back-to-back games against Jesup and Colo-Nesco to open the season, the girls recorded a 40-38 victory over Don Bosco on December 6 behind a 13-point performance from senior Sam Zobel. Senior Josie Youel scored eight points and grabbed a team-high five rebounds, and junior Anna Kvidera added nine points and two assists.

After dropping the following games 29-49 against Denver, the girls bounced back with a 48-40 win over Meskwaki. The Redhawks also defeated Waterloo Christian 48-35 on December 13.
