DYSART – When they head back to the classroom at DG Elementary next week, rising fourth-graders Axton Albertsen and Brody Pippert of Dysart should have no trouble recounting something exciting that happened to them over summer after winning a state baseball championship in July.

As members of USSSA (United States Specialty Sports Association) Baseball’s 9U-A Full Count team based in Cedar Falls, the Dysart duo ended the 2025 summer ball season by capturing the 9U-A Division I State Baseball Championship July 14 in Norwalk after racking up six wins and scoring 119 runs total during the tournament.
